Toby Fox is best known for being a game designer. Also known as FwugRadiation, he is the game creator, producer and composer of the critically acclaimed RPG Undertale. He was born in Massachusetts on October 11, 1991. Undertale formed in the basement of Andrew Hussie’s house. He was a member of the EarthBound fan group Starmen.net, alias Radiation. He became aware of his “EarthBound Halloween Hack” submission for Starmen. Net’s 2008 Halloween Funfest.

• , After graduation he started composing a variety of music for Andrew Hussie’s 2009 Homestuck webcomic during his high school year. While he did not initially react when Hussie set up a “Music Contribution Group” in April 2009 and put up a news post asking musicians to join, Hussie took notice of his work when Fox began posting webcomic piano covers to the MS Paint Adventures forums. Fox composed music for the 2017 Homestuck video game Hiveswap, Undertale artist Temmie Chang’s short story game Escaped Chasm, and Game Freak’s 2019 RPG Little Town Hero, the latter of which was orchestrated by Pokémon composer Hitomi Sato. He also wrote the song for Pokémon Sword and Shield and the song “74” for Itoki Hana’s PRAY album, in which he performed as a guest singer.
