Tenille Averil Dashwood was born on 1 March 1989 and is an Australian professional wrestler. She is currently signed to Impact Wrestling under her real name and is still working on an independent circuit. Dashwood is best known for its tenure in WWE under the name of Emma from 2012 to 2017. She was the first female Australian wrestler to be signed with WWE and was involved in the NXT division as well as Raw and SmackDown. She also became famous for her tenure in the Ring of Honor.
She began wrestling training in Australia in 2003 when she was 13 years old. In 2008 and 2011, Dashwood moved to Canada to practice at the Storm Wrestling Academy. Prior to joining WWE, she competed in Australia and North America on an independent circuit with promotions such as the Elite Canadian Wrestling Championship and the Shimmer Female Athlete Arena, Tenille Tayla.
