- On April 22, 2019, Westbrook shared an Instagram story in which she spoke about being deceived by the beauty community. A few hours before Westbrook's post, fellow beauty YouTuber James Charles shared an advertisement for Sugar Bear Fur, a direct competitor to Westbrook's brand to vitamin supplements: Halo Skin. On May 10, 2019, Westbrook released a YouTube video entitled BYE SISTER … In which she said that the continuing feud between her and Charles was not only about ads, but also about her past with Charles and the claims that he was preying on heterosexual men. As a result of the film, Westbrook gained more than four million subscribers in a week, and Charles lost more than three million subscribers in four days. It hit its height, amassing more than 10.6 million subscribers at the time. Charles responded to the May 18 claims with a video titled No More Lies, in which he shared his side of the story. Westbrook subsequently lost more than one million subscribers, as well as eligibility for the YouTube Diamond Creator Competition, and has 9,5 million subscribers as of April 2020.
