Sara Sampaio gained the attention of numerous modelling agencies when she was 15 years old. However, when she was 16, she was not allowed to compete in modelling competitions.
In 2007, she participated and won a hair modelling contest called 'Cabelos Pantene' in Portugal. After the race, she had the opportunity to appear in a company in Portugal. Subsequently, she signed a deal with the Agency. Her parents, however, decided that she had to finish high school before she could dream about becoming a professional model.

She had the opportunity to collaborate with the renowned photographer, Raphael Mazzucco, for this initiative.
She got the chance to work with fellow supermodels Irina Shayk in the Replay Fall / Winter 11/12 campaign and the Adriana Lima Supermodel in the Blumarine Fall / Winter 11/12 campaign. She was also walking on the runway in the Armani Fall / Winter Campaign on 11/12.

Sara is reportedly dating entrepreneur Oliver Ripley. In 2015, reports of the potential relationship between the two first emerged. They've been dating since 2017, however.
