Famous for his appearance in Hellboy (2004), Hellboy and Hellboy II's sequel: The Golden Army (2008). He has appeared in the roles of AmouKar in Search for Fire (1981), Salvatore in The Name of the Rose (1986), Vincent in the Beauty and the Beast TV show (1987–1990), and has won the Golden Globe Award, One in The City of Lost Children (1995), Johner in Alien: Armageddon (1997), Clay Morrow in the TV series Sons of Anarchy (2008–2013) and Nino in Drive (2011). In the Toro films Cronos (1993), Blade II (2002), and Pacific Rim (2013), Perlman is often referred to as Hellboy's associate, producer Guillermo del Toro. - Talking about his career journey, Ron Perlman began his career as an actor in the theatre, working in various theatres, including Knickerbocker Theater, Brooks Atkinson Theater, Lincoln Center, and Square Theater Circle.
- He began his career in the film industry with Amoukar's critically acclaimed role in the 1981 film Quest for Fire made by Jean-Jacques Annaud. For his excellent performance, he received a nomination for the Genie Award for Best Performance by a Foreign Actor.
