Pharrell Williams, who was born in 1973 in Virginia, started performing as a teenager. Both were considered to be the demand production team of Neptunes, collaborating with such artists as Ja-Z, Gwen Stefani and Britney Spears. He worked in cooperation with his friend Chad Hugo.
