Khia is best known for being American rapper, songwriter and record producer whose debut album, Thug Fails, was released in 2002. She was born on November 8, 1977 in Philadelphia , PA. She collaborated with Miley Cyrus on her album “We Can't Stop.” Khia was born to Khia Shamone Chambers in Philadelphia and raised in her Germantown neighbourhood, and moved to Tampa , Florida when she was 11 years old. Khia attended Dowdell High School and Hillsborough High School. She was expelled from Hillsborough in Grade 9 and then attended an alternative school. In 1991, Khia had her first child, the daughter of Khia. She moved to Hawaii in 1992 when her father was stationed there and she had her second child, a son named Rashawn, while she was living with him.She worked as a bartender at Club XS in Tampa , Florida, before becoming a rapper. Her mother, Carol Belinda Chambers, who was a specialist in data entry, died in 2001.
