Joshua Kimmich is a talented German football player who has taken on a leading role as a right-back or a defensive midfielder in German clubs RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich. In the 2015–16, 2016–17, 2017–18 or 2018–19 seasons, the Bundesliga title won the Bayern Munich DFL-Supercup in 2016 , 2017 or 2018, as well as the DFB-Cup in the 2015–16 and 2018–19 seasons. He represented Germany at international level at the 2014 UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) European Championships of Under-19, Under-18, Under- 19 and Under-21, and made his Senior National Team debut in June 2016. He was the international representative of Europe. He was a leading member of the German squads which won the UEFA Euro 2016 Semifinal and the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup. In 2017 he was named the “Player of the Year” of the German National Team.
