Jeff Ross is better known as a comedian. The Roastmaster General and host of The Burn with Jeff Ross on Comedy Central, who made a name for himself on the Comedy Central Roasts. He has made numerous appearances at events for U.S. troops and directed a documentary film about his experience of visiting U.S. bases in Iraq. He was born on September 13, 1965, in Springfield Township, NJ. He completed a comedy tour with Drew Carey, who was then roasted at the Friars Club. He attended Boston University College of Communications before beginning his career in New York. He wrote a book released on September 15, 2009 entitled I Only Roast The Ones I Love: Busting Balls Without Burning Bridges.
