Jeff Dunham was born on April 18, 1962 in Dallas, TX. Stand-up comedian and ventriloquist who twice received the Ventriloquist of the Year Award in 2008 and was the first individual. His Christmas special, A Very Special Christmas Special, was the most-watched television broadcast in the history of Comedy Central when it was premiered in 2008. He was ranked the third-highest paying comedian after Jerry Seinfeld in 2009, and was called by Slate.com “America’s Favorite Comedian.” He was adopted at the age of three by the real estate appraiser Howard Dunham and his wife Joyce. He began his ventriloquist career when they gave him an 8th Christmas dummy for Mortimer Snerd.
