Jantel Lavender is an American professional basketball player who has been represented in the Woman’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) by Los Angeles Sparks (2011-2018) and Chicago Sky (2019-2018). In 2016 she won the WNBA Women’s Championship with the first and in the same year she was named the Sixth Woman of the Year. In 2015, she was also chosen for the “All-Star” WNBA Team. At international stage, she is a member of the women’s teams of the USA who won the ‘Gold’ medal at the 2006 International FIBA, the 2007 FIBA Under-19 World Championship and the 2009 World University Games. At international level, she has taken her seat at the United States FIBA World Championships. In the off-season WNBA has represented clubs all over the world including Beşiktaş JK (2011) in Turkey, CCR Polkowice (2011) in Poland, Beretta Familia Schio (2012-2013, 2018-2019) in Italy, World Business Center Wislav Wislav Krakow (2013-2015).
