Biography
Glenn McGrath was born on 9 February 1970 in Australia. Australian fast bowler has been considered one of the best ever to play the game. Over a 14-year career he took 563 Test wickets, setting a world record for a fast bowler. He has also taken a record-71 wickets over four World Cup crickets. After he retired he became a commentator. He retired with the third-most of all-time Test wickets, behind only off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne. McGrath was also outstripped by leg-spinner Anil Kumble shortly after retiring. He first played cricket as a child, and it was agreed that he would move to Sydney to train professionally after Doug Walters saw him and saw his potential.
