Everett Sloane is best known as an Actor. He was born in Manhattan on 1 October 1909 to Nathaniel I. He played Puck in a play at Manhattan’s Public School at the age of seven and wanted to become an actor. He completed two years at the University of Pennsylvania and left in 1927 to join the repertory company of Jasper Deeter’s Hedgerow Theatre. He made his stage debut in New York in the year 1928. As a stockbroker’s runner, Sloane took a Wall Street job, but when his pay was cut in half after the stock market crash of 1929, he started to supplement his income with Radio jobs. He was the assistant of the sleuth on the Impossible Detective Mysteries of WOR, played the sidekick of the title character, Denny, in Bulldog Drummond & continued to appear in thousands of Radio programmes.
