David Spade is best known as a TV artist. Former cast member of the iconic Saturday Night Live show, acting in a variety of movies including Joe Dirt, Tommy Boy, The Benchwarmers, Grown Ups, and Black Sheep. In the Hotel Transylvania movies, he also voices the character Griffin. He was born on July 22, 1964 in Birmingham, MI. He and late Chris Farley had a great on-screen chemistry, beginning with their SNL days and continuing with films such as Tommy Boy and Black Sheep.   • Spade entered Saguaro High School and later Scottsdale Community College before transferring to Arizona State University, where he graduated with a degree in Business in 1986. He was also a member of the brotherhood of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Spade presented stand-up at the university's long-running comedy sketch show, Farce Side Comedy Hour, on several occasions. In the mid-80s, he also took part in the Monday night comedy show at Greasy Tony's Pizza in Tempe, Arizona.
