He is also a professional kickboxer player, where he won 13 games during his kickboxing career, and since 2014 he has been with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He has his own Combat Academy gym in Ellerslie, Auckland, New Zealand, and the state-of-the-art gym which included a full-size boxing ring in 2018 and an octagon. He owns his own gym and teaches mixed martial arts. He has competed in 2012, 2014-2016 in the Featherweight division and in 2009-2012 and 2014-present in the Lightweight division.

  • Dan began his career in March 2009, with his professional mixed martial arts. He fought mainly in his native New Zealand and accumulated a 10-4 record. He won King’s championship in the Ring Middleweight Kickboxing Championship and the WKBF X-Rules Welterweight Championship and had a 9-1-3 record in his professional kickboxing debut game.
  • He has played 13 games in his kickboxing career, winning 9 games (5 games by knockout, 1 draw and 3 losses).
