Claudie Blakley is best known as a Film Actress. English Film and Television Star best known for her portrayal of Emma Timmins in the BBC drama Lark Rise in Candleford. She is also known for bringing Charlotte Lucas to life in the 2005 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. She was born in England on January 4, 1974. Her father “Alan Blakley” was a member of the Tremeloes Pop band of the 1960s, her mother Lin Blakley, an actress known for her EastEnders work with Pam Coker from 2014 to 2016 and her sister Kirsten Blakley is the lead singer of the Little Spitfire indie band. In 2005 she looked at Pride and Prejudice as the best friend of Elizabeth Bennet, played by Keira Knightley. After studying at the Central School of Speech and Drama, she began her career on stage in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern's Royal National Theater productions, Dead and Peter Pan.
