The couple flew from Los Angeles to Las Vegas on Saturday, March 20, and spent three days partying in strip clubs. Strickland hanged himself with a bed sheet over the ceiling beam and died in the morning hours of March 22, 1999. He was only 29 years old.
  • On May 15, 1999, Dick drove his car to the Hollywood utility pole. He was charged with possession of cocaine, cannabis, and drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of alcohol / drugs, and driving hit-and-run. He later pleaded guilty to the crime of possession of cocaine and to two other counts of misdemeanor: possession of cannabis and possession of a “smoking tool.” After Dick had completed an 18-month drug diversion program, the judge dismissed the felony and misdemeanor drug charges against him.

After multiple delays, Dick secured a six-month pre-trial diversion on May 21, 2012. The Assistant Prosecutor said the deal specified that if Dick were to stay out of legal trouble for six months, the criminal charges would be dropped.
